Carolyn Beckham
Carolyn began as a member of the AEF Board of Directors in 2001, and since that time has completed a term as AEF President and as an Advisory Board member. She currently works on the AEF Scholarship website, Young Masters, Scholarship, and Fundraising committees. She has also served on various AISD community committees including the P-16 Area Council, the FREE Committee and the District-wide Consultation Committee.
Carolyn graduated from The University of Virginia in 1982 with B.S. in Commerce--UVA, McIntire School of Commerce. In 1984 she completed her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, concentrating in Marketing and Finance.
She lives in Abilene with her husband John and three children, Michael, Rob and Emily who are all former and current students of AISD. Other past volunteer activities include serving on the PTO board of Austin Elementary, the PTA of Lincoln Middle School, and the Day Nursery of Abilene Board, in addition to currently serving as an adult leader for high school youth at their church Beltway Park Baptist Church.
