Buddy Napier
Buddy Napier is a local independent oil and gas producer who joined the AEF Board of Directors in 2009. He is a 1978 graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering. He moved to Abilene working in the oil and gas business as a Professional Engineer. In 1991 he founded HGN Operating Co. which is an independent oil and gas company. He also founded Napier Engineering Inc. which provides professional engineering expertise to local oil and gas companies. He has run both companies since that time.
Buddy lives in Abilene with his wife Julie. They have a daughter, Lauren Harris who lives in Dallas with her husband Madison Harris, and a son, Harris Napier who lives in Abilene. Both are former students of AISD. Buddy is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Hendrick Home for Children, and a former member of the board of The Grace Museum of Abilene.
