Roberta (Bobbie) Warner
After thirty-five years in education, Bobbie and her husband Bob retired and moved to the family ranch outside of Abilene. Bobbie spent the last twenty-nine years in education working in the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District located in suburban Houston. She began her tenure with CFISD as a PE/science teacher and then spent sixteen years as a counselor at Cypress Creek High School. Bobbie was the Coordinating Counselor during her last seven years at Cypress Creek High School. During her final seven years in CFISD she served as director of Testing and Research Department.
For the last five years of her career, Bobbie was the Harris County representative on the Texas Education Agency Education Committee that developed the Texas Accountability System. She is currently a member of the panel that provides oversight to the TEA Accountability Rating System appeals process. Bobbie and her husband Bob recently had a school in CFISD named after them to honor their dedicated service and achievements.
Bobbie and her husband Bob have one son, Brady and a daughter-in-law Stacey. They are blessed with 2 wonderful grandchildren, Hannah and Coby who love to visit the ranch. The move to Abilene has been a blessing for the Warner’s. Bobbie is active in several organizations including the Philharmonic Guild board, her church board, and several committees at the Women’s club.
