TEXAS TECH MASS COMMUNICATIONS
Directions:
The Helen DeVitt Jones Foundation will award these scholarships to students whose majors include Advertising, Electronic Media and Communications, Journalism and Public Relations.

Will be awarded to students who are active in high school athletics and who maintain a GPA of 90 or above. You must intend to compete in athletics at the college level, but cannot be the recipient of a college-awarded athletic scholarship.

ODELL JOHNSON SCHOLARSHIP from the West Texas Fair & Rodeo
Directions:
You must be in the top quarter of your class, be active in extra-curricular activities, and have evidence of need for financial assistance.

$1,000 will be awarded to a senior who has shown interest and ability in scientific study and has plans to pursue Science as a career.

Award Amount:
$1500/year ($750 per semester) awarded
Scholarships vary and renewable for one additional year.

W. PRICE JR. MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP (TEXAS RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION)
ELIGIBILITY:
- Be a resident of Texas, but can attend school outside of the state
- Be enrolled in any degreed food-service or hospitality program
- Be a registered full time student (12 hours or more) with at least 3 hours per semester devoted to food-service or hospitality management
- Have an overall GPA of 2.75 and major GPA of 3.5 (2.75 for high school seniors)
- Demonstrate the ability to become an asset to the food-service industry.

MOTIVATING UNDERGRADUATES IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
The Motivating Undergraduates in Science and Technology Project, or MUST, funded by the NASA, is a joint partnership between the Hispanic College Fund, the United Negro College Fund Special Programs and the Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers.
MUST awards scholarships and internships to undergraduates pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM, fields. The MUST Project is open to all students and is particularly focused on engaging students from underserved and underrepresented groups to enter STEM fields.
Each year, the MUST Project will support approximately 100 undergraduate students with a one-year competitive scholarship of up to one-half of tuition, not to exceed $10,000. Students who maintain the required minimum grade point average will be eligible for a paid internship at a NASA center. Additionally, students will benefit year-round from tutoring, lecture series and mentoring from STEM faculty and peers.
