The Abilene Education Foundation offers programs to enrich education in the Abilene Independent School District, and to encourage and help AISD students to pursue a college education.

 

AEF College Scholarships program awards scholarships to AISD graduates.

 

AEF College Advisors program places college advisors at Abilene High and Cooper High to help students and their parents navigate the road to higher education through help with course preparation, college applications, school tours, and financial aid.

 

Early College Advanced Placement Incentive Program is a program that encourages high school students to take AP courses and pass AP exams to better prepare them for success in college.

 

Teacher Grants provide funding support for classroom and instructional projects that enrich curriculum, and assist teachers who are new to the district with funds for classroom supplies.

 

Young Masters Juried Art program provides an annual juried art exhibition for Advanced Placement Art students to recognize and encourage outstanding artistic expression with a quality museum exhibition.
