College and Tech Fair

6th Annual AEF/AISD College and Technical Fair

The sixth annual AEF-AISD college fair was a tremendous success with over 1000 students in attendance and tons of national accredited universities and technical colleges.

Free and open to the public, the AEF-AISD annual college fair was a great opportunity for students to interact with admission representatives from a wide range of postsecondary institutions to discuss course offerings, admission and financial aid requirements, college life in general, and other information applicable to the college application process.

Community partner John Martinez, Director ATEMS High School presented an informational session on the NCAA Clearinghouse application process and Jim Jones from Hardin-Simmons University presented information on FAFSA/Financial Aid.

Information on scholarships was made available by Community Foundation of Abilene (www.cfabilene.org) and the Abilene Education Foundation (www.aaeeff.org).
