We have all had a teacher who made a lasting impression in our lives. Please join us as we strive to make a positive impact on the teachers and students within the Abilene Independent School District through the enrichment of our programs. The College Scholarships program provides scholarships to deserving students, as they transition from high school to college. The COOL program, which places full-time College Advisors on all AISD high school campuses, continues to expand the level of services available from elementary through high school. GIFT Grants are awarded to new-to-the-profession teachers, financially assisting them in setting up their classrooms. STAR Grants are awarded each September to fund special projects supporting curriculum and enrichment. TLC honors the dedicated work of teachers in AISD with campus recognition, a formal dinner, and a monetary award. Young Masters provides an annual juried art exhibition at the Grace Museum, in an effort to recognize and encourage outstanding artistic expression, awarding college scholarships to the top finalists.
