• Married to Julie for 29 yrs.
  • Children:  Daughter is Lauren Harris who is married and lives in Dallas with her husband and three children.  They participate in youth football, soccer, and baseball.  Lauren was a varsity athlete in basketball and volleyball at Abilene High School.  My son is Harris G. Napier III, who lives in Midland.  He has two children, on of which is a soccer player.  Harris was a varsity athlete in soccer at Abilene High.

• Tell us why you love AEF:

“AEF programs encourage and then reward teacher initiative, which helps to improve the quality of Abilene public schools.  They also have programs to aid and enable first generation college attendance for those high school students that have no resources themselves.  AEF supports all of the children and all of the teachers in the public school system.  Education is the key to success and our children are the key to our future.

“I think that AISD provides a quality education experience for all of the public-school attendees.  My children graduated there, were very prepared for college, and have become very successful and productive members of their respective communities.”
